Veterans' Careers & Employment Opportunities Webinar Series – October 21 – 25, 2024 - VAC VEU

Are you a transitioning member, veteran or reservist interested in a career or job in the public/private sectors?

 

The Veterans Employment Unit (CEU) within Veterans Affairs Canada is hosting a two-day webinar series on careers and job opportunities.

 

Join us from October 21 – 25 for a series of webinars featuring more than fifty organizations, to hear first-hand from those who are actively looking to hire Veterans to fill their ranks.

You will have the opportunity to learn more aboutCareer Transition Services , the Education and Training Benefit and the hiring process at the federal level. You'll also hear from representatives from various organizations such asInnovation Canada and Startup Canada , who will explain what they do and how they can help you.

 

Opportunities will be presented for all ranks and trades (see agenda below).

 

Once the series is over, you will be able to connect with employers interested in hiring veterans, submit your resume, and arrange interviews. Ask your most burning questions and find out what career opportunities are available to you. Once registered, please familiarize yourself with the Pheedloop platform.  In addition, presenters will have information including email addresses of contacts for receiving resumes as well as the ability to set up meetings to discuss submitted resumes.

 

Presentations will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (EST) each day, with a new organization every 30 minutes. Each organization will have 20 minutes of presentation, followed by a 10-minute Q&A period.
