The Veteran Hub Spotlight - The Veterans Association Foodbank

True Patriot Love’s Veteran Hub is one-stop shopping for services, events and volunteering opportunities across Canada for Veterans, serving members and their families.

Today, we’re giving a shout-out to one of our Hub partners, the Veterans Association Food Bank, which offers services in Edmonton, Calgary and Grande Prairie. The VAFB helps with groceries but also provides connections to mental health supports, helps fill out Veterans Affairs paperwork and tax filing, and many other vital, practical services. “The Veteran Hub is a really good idea,” says Marie Blackburn of the VAFB. “We can reach out to other organizations and collaborate with them.” 

More services and businesses for Veterans are joining the Hub all the time, head to the Hub and see what’s available in your community!

We learned of very sad news today. Jörg Hinrichs, Team Captain of Team Germany Invictus Games 2023, passed away unexpectedly, on May 25th.
